Bacon Pull-Apart Bread

I decided to change up the usual bread routine a bit. This recipe includes some of my faves: bacon, ranch and bread.  It was simple, easy and delicious!! The kids loved it.

Bacon Pull-Apart Bread
1 loaf french bread dough (*or recipe below)
12 slices of bacon, cooked partially, drained and diced (you could use low sodium or turkey bacon).
3 Tablespoon olive oil
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Roll out dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
Brush dough with 1 Tablespoon olive oil and cut into 1 inch pieces.
Place in a large bowl.  Add bacon, cheese, 2 Tablespoons olive oil (or butter) and dressing packet.
Toss to coat.
Grease a bundt pan or other pan and layer the pieces inside the pan.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.  Then cover with foil and bake 5-10 minutes more until lightly browned.

The sad thing is this beautiful tray that the bread is sitting on met it fate tonight....and I am so sad. It was given to me by a good friend, someone I probably will not see again and it meant alot to me. Plus it was probably the nicest thing I owned...BUMMER!!
*You could also use the refrigerated tube biscuits, cut each in half.
